AXIS — The Book
Editorial design for the thesis volume that was written alongside the object: interviews, form studies, a taxonomy of futures, and every process photograph that did not make it onto the project page.

The book is set in German, which is why its chapter titles read the way they do. It was written while the object was being made, not afterwards: the chapters on the analogue–digital loop were drafted while the first silicone moulds were still curing.
Reading it is not required to understand AXIS. It is here because a thesis is a made thing too, and because someone always asks.
